1) Thank you to all participants of the Ecology and Management of CA Grasslands Conference. We will be announcing the format for extended abstracts to be included in the Conference Proceedings soon.
2) Two excellent items in the April-June 2004 issue of BayNature: David Amme has an article about CA Grasslands: Grassland heritage: Stewardship of a changed landscape. BayNature, pages 21-25. And, there is an interview with Joe Morris of T.O. Cattle Company (pg. 5). http://www.baynature.org.
3) I am teaching an evening course on the Ecology of California Grasslands at Strybing Arboretum in June and July 2004. Classes will be on four Thursday evenings plus one Saturday field trip.
